if you are looking for a reading of the King James Bible, this is your spot. There are a few different narrators which helps if you are listening directly through. Each reader takes a relatively equal amount of the text. they do not switch back and forth nor do they present the text as a dramatic reading. Just the bible read to you. It's what I was looking for and hopefully this review helps.

Not melodramatic. Really nice that women's voices were in the mix. Very listenable. I did speed up the playback a smidge .

This is a great version of The Holy Bible. Besides being accurate, the narrators did a great job. I was not sure I would like hearing a woman narrate the Bible other than books like Ruth, but she did a great job, they all did. Even though people get paid to do this, I really appreciate them doing the Bible and such a good job. I appreciate Amazon having this available and the continued excellent selection of other books.
